Welcome to Elizabeth G. Lyons School

Welcome to the Lyons Elementary School’s Website!

At the Lyon’s School we honor the diversity of learners and families in our community while striving for academic excellence for all. We firmly believe that establishing a strong relationship between the home and the school is an essential component in your child’s education and development.

The staff at the Lyon’s Elementary School strives to create a safe, inviting, and positive school environment in which the students can flourish. We are dedicated to providing your child with the educational experiences necessary to ensure his/her future success. We believe learning best occurs in a climate of mutual respect and kindness.

We are very lucky to have two strong parent organizations to support our school programs. Our PTO and our School Site Council work very hard to provide enriching experiences and a dynamic environment for our students. Throughout the school year many exciting activities and events for families and students occur and we are always looking for volunteers. We invite you to become active in our school and join us in providing the best possible educational setting for your child.

As a Principal, I am proud to be part of the Lyon’s Elementary School. The excellent staff, supportive parents and community, and the wonderful children are what make this school the outstanding place that it is. We welcome your comments, suggestions, and any ideas you may have to make our school community even stronger.
